Network Engineering

Innovation, cutting edge technologies, on time delivery, best people and efficient processes

At CenturyLink we transmit millions of voice call and data packets everyday, and that's the heart of our business.

We provide digital Voice and Data services to customers over TDM, IP and wireless Networks. Over our robust telecommunication network in North America, we are also providing new generation services such as Voice over IP, Internet Protocol TV services to our customers.

At CenturyLink, we're engaged in planning, monitoring and optimizing some of these services. Our team participates in Network Capacity Planning, central office switch monitoring, analyzing Call Detailed Record to figure out routing discrepancies and optimal routing, VoIP planning, toll-free call monitoring, etc. We use various tools for some of these activities - TIRKS, Switch Commander, PNTI, Remedy, to name a few.
